Sifu Charlie Fox is the Head Instructor of Schools of Kung Fu Redhill and is a 4^th Level Technician (4^th Dan).

Sifu Charlie’s journey started with Schools of Kung Fu by IWKA at the old age of 16 and has never looked back!

Sifu Charlie is a direct student of (Master) Sifu Alan Paterson. Under the guidance of Master Alan Paterson Sifu Charlie worded his way thought the student curriculum showing dedication and passion for his love of Wing Chun Kung Fu. After joining the instructor training program at Schools of Kung Fu Croydon HQ Sifu Charlie first became an assistant kids’ instructor and carried on working up to lead instructor for children’s classes.

As a motivated individual he was not going to stop as a kid’s instructor and carried on with the instructor training program and became a direct assistant instructor to Sifu Alan’s adult classes. Consistently kept his own personal  training and cultivation up which led him to graduate as a lead instructor for adult classes at Croydon HQ which developed him into the seasoned teacher he is today.

On his ongoing journey to towards a greater understanding of Martial Arts, Sifu Charlie has studied multiple disciplines such as Taekwondo, Boxing, MMA, Muay Thai, BBJ.

Sifu Charlie’s passion for Kung Fu and Chinese Culture led him to live in mainland China where he learnt to speak, read and write fluent Mandarin and earning his HSK5 mandarin qualification. Whilst living in Mainland China Charlie visited Hong Kong where he was able to train at Schools of Kung Fu by IWKA Asia HQ in Hong Kong where he was able to take some lessons with Sifu Sergio (International Chief Instructor).

Charlie regularly contributes to the community, participating in charity events including, running a half marathon as a Kung Fu Panda mascot, training children for sponsored events, hosting conflict management courses for young adults assisted Sifu Alan at film premiers in London and has proved himself as a valuable member of the community and the Schools of Kung Fu family.

With all this, Sifu Charlie’s passion has always been for Kung Fu and not only has he completed and passed all the requirements to become if a qualified instructor and earned his Sifu title in December 2019, through guiding many adult students reach their black belts during his years of teaching the art.

Sifu Charlie opened Schools of Kung Fu Redhill in September 2022 where he quickly moved from a satellite location to a full-time venue where he has inspired and built up a fantastic student base in the town of Redhill and its surrounding areas in Surrey.

All of these experiences have influenced Sifu Charlie’s Martial Arts teaching style and philosophy to train future students in Kung Fu.
