Martin is the head Instructor at Schools of Kung Fu by IWKA  Harrow.

Martin started boxing at the early age of seven and regularly attended boxing competitions all over Northern Ireland, winning many of his matches.

The first movie he saw at the cinema when he was nine was ‘Enter the dragon’, he was hooked but there was no Kung Fu in his hometown.

He continued to box until the age of 13 when he came across Lau Gar Kung Fu classes in his home town. This period of Lau Gar training was intensive as the class numbers were small, so the tuition was pretty personalised.

He trained in Lau Gar until he was 18 before moving to Manchester to study engineering. Whilst in Manchester he regularly trained in Wu Shu for the 4 years in university. Martin started training Wing Chun Kung Fu in 2013 and hasn’t looked back since!

Martin is a certified instructor for Schools of Kung Fu by IWKA and is a passionate teacher who loves to teach adults and children Wing Chun he will continue to provide high quality training.

He attends classes, workshops and seminars at Schools of Kung Fu HQ in Croydon taken by (Master) Sifu Alan Paterson, who is the UK Chief Instructor.

Martin has also travelled to Europe to attend workshops and training seminars held by the International Chief Instructor of Schools of Kung Fu by IWKA, (Grand Master)  Sifu Sergio Pascal Iadarola.
