Martin Teefy began his martial arts journey at the age of seven in Ireland, initially training in boxing before exploring Lau Gar Kung Fu and Wushu. His passion for traditional Chinese martial arts eventually led him to study Wing Chun Kung Fu and Wu Taiji, where he found a lifelong path of learning, personal development and self-cultivation.
Today, Martin is a certified instructor with Schools of Kung Fu and is recognised through the IWKA. He continues to develop his skills under the guidance of SiGong Sergio Iadarola, SiGong Zhou and SiFu Kleber, while also receiving ongoing refinement and mentorship from SiFu Alan Paterson.
Martin regularly travels to the Eternal Spring Institute in Madeira, Portugal, to train directly with senior instructors and stay current with the latest developments within the system. This commitment ensures that students in Harrow receive authentic, up-to-date instruction rooted in traditional Chinese martial arts principles.
SiFu Alan Paterson, UK Chief Instructor for both the Eternal Spring Institute and Schools of Kung Fu UK, oversees all Schools of Kung Fu locations throughout the United Kingdom, including Harrow. His guidance helps maintain consistent teaching standards and supports the continued development of instructors and students across the organisation.
